  • FOR ALL MASTERS: FAM #26 - Dame Grease

    forallmasters:

Back at you with another conversation with one of rap’s most illustrious producers! Dame Grease made a name for himself right out of the gate as the man behind some of the biggest rap records of the late ’90s. He looks back on how it all started, from “If You Think I’m Jiggy” to “Get at Me Dog” and the landmark It’s Dark and Hell is Hot album.  Dame talks about his experiences working with the likes of Slick Rick, French Montana and even Tricky!  Plus, he updates us on the status of Max B and DMX.  Something for everybody in this interview, not one to miss!

Ibn Inglor - “Old War” Promo Video.

Chicago website Fake Shore Drive has received a big boost in popularity as Chicago rappers (not only Chief Keef but also artists like King Louie and Lil Durk) gain nationwide attention.  But the site isn’t all about these artists gaining a buzz, the site has been showcasing Midwestern rap for half a decade and is always bringing new artists into the light.  Ibn Inglor, from the far south side of Chicago has just recently been introduced.  The 18-year-old rapper has a new mixtape, “Gawds Speed” coming soon.  Assuming the rest of the project sounds like “Old War” or the other song that leaked, it will definitely be worth a listen.   -J
