Madvillain - “Figaro” (Stones Throw, 2004)

If he was Anita Baker’s man / he’d take her for her masters / hit it once and shake her hand…

Am I alone in thinking that the two and a half minutes of “Figaro” are about a thousand times better than everything else on Madvillainy combined?

Thats how I feel about “Fancy Clown”

I’m torn between the two. I liked the self-hatred and hypocritical break-up song that is “Fancy Clown” but, “Figaro” is lyrically impressive and imaginative.
